After several years enjoying crochet patterns written by other people, I decided it was time to give back to the yarn community and create my own! It has been a really fun endeavor to dive into, harnessing all that experience to develop new designs straight from my imagination.

My experience reading and working from patterns has taught me the things I really like in a pattern (clear instructions, photos of special techniques), and the ones I don't (lack of stitch count, missing information). My patterns go above and beyond to make sure you have a wonderful time making them.

Here are some things you can look forward to when working from one of my patterns:

  • Pattern in your choice of U.S. or U.K. terminology (you will receive two pattern files to choose from) with a thorough abbreviations list

  • Finished measurements for all sizes in both inches and centimeters

  • Yarn totals in yards + meters and ounces + grams

  • A gauge guide to make sure your garment works out to the correct size

  • A Special Stitches and Special Techniques section with detailed written instructions and links to additional photos and videos

  • Photos of important stitches so you know where to work them

  • Detailed stitch charts of repeat rows

  • Multiple sizes listed in parenthesis and color-coded for easy tracking as you work through the pattern

  • Stitch count at the end of each row/round

  • A section at the end of the pattern with fun pattern variations to make each garment different and unique

  • Confidence that all patterns have been tested by several pattern testers to ensure there are no errors

  • Assistance by email with any pattern questions you might have

  • A link to a special music playlist to listen to while crocheting each pattern!

Sweetie Darling Top.png

This darling top is made with a soft and lightweight cotton yarn, perfect to wear on a sunny spring or summer day! It works great over a strappy fitted tank, sweet floral dress, or bikini top as a beach cover-up. The name comes from one of my favorite British TV shows, “Absolutely Fabulous” – the main characters in this comedy greet each other with this phrase, and the moniker fits nicely for this sweet top. Say it in an English accent and you’re good to go!

Sizes: Small, Medium, Large, and X-Large

Yarn: DK weight, 407-722 yards depending on size selected

Cape Cod Color Block Tank.png

This open-weave tank is made with a soft 100% cotton yarn that has a breathable light touch. There is a slight flare from the waistline to the hips, giving an ease to flatter all body shapes (and baby bumps!). It works great with a strappy fitted tank underneath, or over a bikini top as a beach cover-up. You can also continue the pattern and make this into a dress. The name comes from one of my absolute favorite places, Cape Cod, where as a child I went on summer vacation each year with my family to visit my grandparents (these model photos were taken there!). This tank evokes the sun, sand, and water of this beautiful New England peninsula!

Sizes: Small, Medium, Large, X-Large, 2X, 3X

Yarn: Worsted weight, 620-1,550 yards depending on size selected

COPYRIGHT + USE AGREEMENT

Each pattern takes me 150+ hours to invent, create, test, frog, create again even better, write the pattern, do the math, create the stitch chart, design the layout, photograph the special stitches, work with testers, and list online. You’re able to purchase the pattern at such a low price (as opposed to my hourly rate x hours of work) because of the power of group buying (it takes several hundred purchases before that time is paid back!). Please do not copy, distribute, or sell this pattern – it is for your personal use only. If you want a friend to try out this pattern, feel free to give them the link to the listing so they can purchase it themselves. Or purchase it again and give it to them as a gift! If you share this pattern with others, not only will there be legal ramifications, but it also means I won’t be able to make any more awesome patterns. That would be sad for all of us!

You are allowed to sell creations you make using this pattern, but you must give written credit for the pattern to With Love From Molly.
